I'm a big fan of Jon Stewart and The Daily Show. It's both smart and funny. I'm also a big fan of Malala Yousafzai. So when the two came together in the same week as the one year anniversary of Malala's shooting, I had to watch. And then I had to share it with you! Kid President has a Dream!
Kid President commemorates the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic "I Have a Dream" speech. Reading about Jen's plans for a rally in the novel "Among the Hidden" made me think of the March on Washington where thousands of people gathered in front of the President's "House" to demand that people all be treated the same, regardless of colour (text-to-world connection).
